Irene Elizabeth Fazekas

Loving mother of Rob (Angela) and Brian (Niki). Cherished grandmother of Robbie (Kathy), Matthew (Jen), Michael (Jules), Stephen (Lisa), Emily Shuttler (Doug), Liam and Lisa. Great-Grandmother of Alexis and Madison, Morgan and Jordyn, Tessa and Joey, Bryce and James, Ryan and Tosh and Shea. Irene was a "Stay at Home Mom" and took great pride and pleasure caring for her grandchildren when ever called upon to do so ! Her greatest pleasure was cooking for her family! Irene was the youngest sibling in a family of 13 children who have all gone before her. A special thank you to the wonderful staff at The Wellington Nursing Home who took such great care of her. The family will receive friends for a Memorial Gathering at CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME, 322 Fennell Avenue E. on Saturday, March 4, 2023 from 11am-1pm with a Memorial Service to follow in the funeral home chapel at 1pm. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada in Irene's memory.
