It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Ian Montgomery Sneddon at the Hamilton General Hospital on Monday, January 10, 2022 in his 87th year. Survived by his partner Sam Boyle, his cousin John Walker and family and his nephew Iain Paterson. Ian was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 163, the Masons, the Plumbing Union Local 67, and the Tartan Club. Cremation has taken place. A funeral service will be held at CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME, 322 Fennell Ave. E., on Saturday, January 22nd at 1pm in the chapel. In accordance with the regulations of the Bereavement Authority of Ontario due to COVID-19, all events are restricted to a specified number of attendees. Please RSVP in advance by calling 905-387-2111. Visitors are also required to wear a face covering and practice social distancing. In lieu of flowers, donations made to Diabetes Canada would be greatly appreciated.
