Peacefully at Carpenter Hospice, Burlington on Friday, December 10th, 2010 in her 82nd year. Predeceased by her beloved husband Petras (Peter) in 2002. Loving mother of Raymond (Denise) and Richard (Cathie). Treasured grandmother of Paul, Stephanie (Sweetie), Leigh and Terry. Survived by sisters Olga Sinkevicius and Herta Rulys and families. Also survived by cousins Herta, Harry, Gustaf, Evelina, Otto, Elma, Ida, Erwin, Eric, Albert, Ewalt, Regina and families. Also survived by cousins in Germany and Lithuania. Predeceased by parents Otto and Emma Lukat, and step-parents Robert and Rosalie Mittag. Wanda was a long time member of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church. A special thank-you to all the health care providers who allowed us to care for Wanda at home including Dr. Kehinde and his staff, Ruth Forbes (CCAC Case Manager), Wanda’s St. Elizabeth’s nurses Peggy and Annalise, and her “ladies-in-waiting” Heather and Gloria. Special mention of Dr. Reddy. Thank-you to Rev. Dr. Frank Bahr for his faithful ministry.
