Helena Kowalczyk

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother Helena Kowalczyk in her 94th year. Predeceased by her husband Wladyslaw. Loving mother to her sons Walter (Bonnie), Chester (Nancy), Steve (June) and Richard (Janice). Helena was blessed with grandchildren Regina, Lily (Jay), Matthew (Melissa), Kathy (Andrew), Jennifer (Larry), Cheryl (John), Samantha (Jamie), Elly (Adam), Christopher (Megan) and Caillin (Heather) and also adored her great grandchildren Emily, Emmett, Ben, Alice, Grayce and Nolan. Her loving and caring nature will be missed by her entire family. Special thanks to the staff of St. Peter’s at Chedoke for their compassionate care. Visitation will be at TRUSCOTT, BROWN & DWYER FUNERAL CHAPEL, 1309 King Street East (across from Gage Park at the delta) on Thursday, May 16 from 2 – 4 pm and 7 – 9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Friday, May 17 at 10 am, followed by interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Burlington. In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
