Peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer at St. Peter’s Hospital in Hamilton on Tuesday, March 31, 2020 in her 87th year. Beloved wife of the late Ivan. Loved mother of Victor, John (Anne), Walter (Susan), and Peter (Alice). Loving grandma of Steven, Ellen, John, Adam, Erin, Devon, Brittany, Nathan, and Jason and great grandma of Charlotte, Connor, Zachary, Adelaide, Clementine and Adrianna . Predeceased by two sisters; Eda and Frieda and survived by one sister Olga.

Helen was an extremely strong individual. She was kind-hearted and very forgiving. She had a great love for children and for gardening. She will be remembered for the countless Trillium Awards that she won for her gardens and property. She was an amazing cook, especially traditional Ukrainian and German cuisine.

Interment will take place in Woodland Cemetery.
