It is with extreme sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother Helen Maher on July 12, 2023 at the age of 83.
Predeceased by her husband Daniel Maher (1989) and her son David Vella (2010). Loving mother to Bob Vella (Charlene) and Ron Vella (Lisa). She will be deeply missed by her grandchildren Steven, Justine, Bethany (Tom), Bobby, Gabrielle and Jonathan. Adored great-grandmother to Amelia, Lexis, Kailey and Lola. She will be lovingly remembered by her extended family and friends in Europe and Canada. Helen was known for the love she had for her family and the strong faith she had in her Lord & Saviour Jesus Christ and it gives us great comfort that she is now home with her maker.
Visitation will be held at CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME, 322 Fennell Avenue E. on Friday, July 14, 2023 from 10am-11am. Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 11am with Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Donations in Helen’s memory can be made to the Salvation Army or Mission Services.
