It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Helen at the Hamilton General Hospital on Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at the age of 76. Predeceased by her beloved husband Jack. Loving mother of Jackie and proud grandma of Devonne and Chelsea. Helen will always be lovingly remembered by Elaine and her children Cody and Breanne. She was the eldest sister to 14 siblings. Survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Visitation at the Markey-Dermody Funeral Home, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Saturday, September 16, 2017 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. with a Funeral Service to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
