Harry Paul Shipman

Shipman,Harry Paul – peacefully in his sleep on November 14th 2010 at The Village of Wentworth Heights in his 86th year. Survived by Estelle, his loving wife of 63 years. Cherished son Wayne (Elizabeth). Lovingly remembered by daughter Barbara (Bill) Ingleby. Also survived by son Leonard Shipman and daughter Heather Shipman. Sadly missed by twelve grandchildren Rebecca, Karen, Gregory, Meaghan, Janna, Danielle, Paul, Stephanie, Jason, Mark, Emily and Randy. Also survived by four great grandchildren Lucas, Gabriella, Ava and Nathan. Harry was a thirty-seven year employee of Stelco, where he worked as electrical engineer. He will also be remembered for his years of volunteered service to Good Shepherd. The family would like to extend a special thanks to nurses Kelly and Ann in the Stone Church Unit of The Village of Wentworth Heights for their kindness and care. Cremation has taken place. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church 19 Viewpoint Ave. on Monday, November 22nd at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Hamilton and Halton Alzheimer Foundation would be appreciated.
