PHILLIPS, Gloria May (née Willis) Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 8, 2015 at Heritage Green Nursing Home in her 73rd year. Formerly of Sandside, St. Mary’s, Jamaica, Gloria emigrated to Hamilton, Ontario 20 plus years ago and has served her new community by providing care to special needs adults. She is survived by her son Andrew and numerous siblings including her twin brother Lloyd, nieces, nephews, grandchildren Malcolm and Vanessa, and friends. Gloria will be missed dearly by all who knew her including her choir family at Bethel Gospel Tabernacle. Friends and family will be received at CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME-FENNELL CHAPEL, 322 Fennell Avenue East, Hamilton on Thursday, December 17, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Gloria’s life will be celebrated at Bethel Gospel Tabernacle, 1355 Upper Wellington Street on Friday, December 18, 2015 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow in Mount Hamilton Cemetery. Donations to Bethel Gospel Tabernacle would be appreciated by the family.
