Geraldine Louise Nelson

October 13, 1919 - March 27, 2012

It is with sadnes that we announce the passing of Geraldine "Gerrie" Nelson; Predeceased by husband Douglas (1988). Gerrie will be greatly missed by daughter Carole (Alex) Flear, son James (Mary) Nelson and son Daniel (Michelle) Nelson, also by grandchildren Christopher, Julie, Tara, Daniel, Benjamin, Joshua and Rebecca. She lovingly touched the lives of great grandchildren Lindsay, Laura, Taylor and Leif as well. Survived by her sister Dodie (Harold) Coy. Heartfelt thanks to the staff of the Wellington Nursing Home for your wonderful care, you're the greatest!! Visitation will be held at Cresmount Funeral Home, 322 Fennell Ave. E, on Friday from 6-9 p.m. Funeral service to be held in the Chapel on Saturday at 11 a.m. Interment at White Chapel Memorial Gardens. Gerrie was a lady who enjoyed life and its gifts. She always looked on the bright side of things and with a song in her heart and a smile ofn her face, she left a lasting impression on all who were fortunate to make her aquaintance.
