I had the pleasure of working with Gary both in Toronto and New York. He was a true gentleman and a great co-worker. My deepest sympathies to the family at this special time.

I met Gary when we were both working in CIBC's New York office in the 1980's. He was a respected, personable individual with a wonderful sense of humor. So well liked by all of our employees and a real gentleman. He will be missed by many.

        I was so sorry to hear of Garys' passing.I remember what it meant to lester to have him sing "When He Was On Cross I Was On His Mind"  at our 50th wedding anniversary.We were just starting on our journey with Alzheimers.
        Gary radiated Gods' love through his singing and speaking ministry.

My condolences to the Pickell Family, and may he rest in peace.  I first had the pleasure of meeting Gary in 1975  where I assumed my first role as Secretary, Corporate Services.  Gary was a pleasure to work for and I always admired his quick wit and sense of fun and his desire to get things done!

I remember Gary, as I worked for him as his Secretary in Corporate Services, at C.I.B.C Commerce Court, Toronto in the mid 70's. He was a real gentleman & a very nice Boss.
