It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to Gaetano "Thomas/Tom" Mantione, who passed away peacefully on December 2, 2023, after a brave battle with cancer.
He faced his illness with courage and hope, fighting until the very end. He was 56 years old. Tom was born in Hamilton, Ontario to Grazia Mantione (Mule) and Raffele Mantione. A loving and caring father, he leaves behind his daughter Grace. Tom was a dedicated paramedic for over 25 years with the City of Hamilton, touching countless lives in the community. He was a caring friend and corvette enthusiast. In celebration of Gaetano Mantione’s life, Visitation will be held at CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME, 322 Fennell Avenue E. on Tuesday, December 12, 2023 from 2-4pm and 6-9pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Most Blessed Sacrament Parish, 305 East 37th St. on Wednesday, December 13, 2023 at 11am. Entombment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
