Passed away peacefully at The Meadows in Ancaster on March 23, 2013 in his 87th year.
Beloved husband of the late Bernice Langman (1995) and his "soulmate", Ruthie (2006)
Loving brother of Gerald (Doris) of Winnipeg,MB and Lorne (Joan) of Edmonton, AB.
Cherished uncle of Judy Hill of Ancaster. He will be greatly missed by his sister-in-law, Dolly Michener of Ancaster, his cousin Peter Brown of Burlington and many nieces and nephews.
Fred was a long time employee of International Harvester, now Navistar for over 43 years. He was a kind, intelligent and giving person who loved his curling, his crossword puzzles, his Nat'l Geograpic and his church. Special thanks to Lakeview Retirement Home in Stoney Creek and long term care facility,The Meadows in Ancaster for their kind, compassionate care and outstanding service to my uncle in his final years. As per Fred's request, he has been cremated and a private family burial will take place.
