Frank Frkovic

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Frank at the Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice, on Thursday, July 26, 2012, after a courageous battle with cancer, at the age of 87. Beloved husband of Ana for 60 years. Loving father of Ivan (Marianne); Ann (Drago Saric); Steve. Proud Deda of Stephanie Frkovic (fiancé Paul); Steven and Mark Vidovich. Frank will be sadly missed by relatives, kumovi and many friends in Canada, Croatia and USA. Frank was a retired employee of Stelco, an active member of Bosiljevo Club and Holy Cross Seniors Club. He was an enthusiastic bocce player in the local neighbourhood and enjoyed the Coffee Club at Eastgate Square. The family would like to thank the exceptional staff and volunteers at Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice for their care and compassion, many thanks to Dr. Cusimano and also the staff in Unit C3 at the Juravinski Hospital. Visitation at MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Sunday from

2-4pm and 6-9pm with Vigil Prayers at 8pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Cross Croatian Church, 1883 King Street East, on Monday, July 30, 2012 at 9:30am. Burial at Our Lady of the Angels Cemetery to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice or Holy Cross Church would be appreciated.
