Evelyn Mabel Jackson

Promoted to Glory peacefully in her 99th year on Monday, October 1, 2012. Beloved wife of the late Ernest Herbert Jackson. Predeceased by her daughter Anne Tallman and son-in-law Bill, son Clifford Jackson and brother Bill Fordham, brothers-in-law Fred, Eric, Percy, sisters-in-law Evelyn Bishop and Grace Woods. Survived by grandchildren Bill Tallman (Linda), Greg Jackson (Marlene), Deanna Jackson, many great-grandchildren, sister Dorothy Lancaster, daughter-in-law Dianne Jackson, brothers-in-law Albert and Gordon, sister-in-law Agnes Szeker, nieces, nephews and the Armit family. Special thank you to the staff and residents of The Wellington Retirement Home for their care and compassion over the past several years. Evelyn was a faithful and devoted soldier of the Salvation Army. Friends may call at the MARLATT FUNERAL HOME, 615 Main Street (east of Sanford), Hamilton, on Thursday 6 p.m.-8 p.m. and Friday 11 a.m.-12 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Marlatt Memorial Chapel on Friday, October 5, 2012 at 12 p.m., with reception immediately following.
