Evelyn May Jackson

Ev was pre-deceased by her parents Henry and Ada Hann and brothers Art and Jack. Ev is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Jim, as well as her children Jim (Darcy) and Lisa, her grandchildren Cooper, Keegan, and Catrina (Brandon). Ev is also survived by many other relatives.

Ev spent many years working at The Hamilton Thistle Club, as well as The Hamilton Golf and Country Club. She not only enjoyed her work, but made many friends and spent countless hours of her off-time with them having pool parties and roller skating. But Ev’s real love was her family. From travelling to Florida, North Carolina, and Frankenmuth, Michigan to the Christmas store, Ev loved being with Jim. They spent many days travelling across Ontario for their weekly lunch dates. Ev also enjoyed watching her children grow up and raise their own families, so she could spend time and spoil her grandchildren.

Special thanks to all the wonderful staff on 7 South at the Hamilton General Hospital for their amazing care of Ev during her short stay with them.

Resting at Cresmount Funeral Home, Fennell Chapel, 322 Fennell Avenue East, Hamilton for visitation on Sunday, June 25, 2023 from 1-3 p.m. A chapel service will be held at 3 p.m. A private burial will take place at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens at a later date.
