Elizabeth Betty Arnold

An incredible mother to Theresa, Rick and Chris and mother- in-law to Donna and Lisa. Betty was proud of her seven grandchildren, Rebecca, Lauren and Mark, Corey, Lucas, Jacob and Isaac. She leaves behind four great grandchildren Annabelle, Lorelei, Eleanor and Oliver for whom we will keep her memory alive. Sister to Bruno.

Betty was born and raised in Hamilton and surrounding areas. She was a dedicated CIBC employee for a great many years, and loved to cook and bake for her family. She was a wonderful seamstress, making costumes and clothing for her grandchildren. She enjoyed many good friends and was a good friend to many. She will be always remembered for her strong resolute, feisty nature, great storytelling and above all, her love for her family.

The family wishes to express thanks to the staff at Extendicare for their care of our mom over the past 4 years and particularly for their compassion in the last few days. Visitation will take place on Monday, October 30th from 1:00-3:00 pm at Cresmount Funeral Home, 322 Fennell Avenue East, Hamilton, 905-387-2111. Donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Society of Canada or a charity of your choice.
