Beth passed peacefully after a long illness. She was a loving wife of 44 years to Thomas Andrew. Beth was an adored mother to Kevin (Alejandra) Andrew and Heather (William) Pirjamali. She was a cherished “GoGo” (grandma) to James and Andrew Pirjamali. She is now reunited with her younger brother Bryan and parents Ted and Ruth Taylor. She is survived by her brother Peter Taylor. She will be missed by her sister-in-law Elizabeth Hmiel (Stan) as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Beth was the glue that kept our family together and we are devastated that she is gone. Her favourite place was the family cottage on Lake Couchiching. She and Tom were avid “cruisers”, travelling many times to the Caribbean and Europe. Beth was always thinking of her loved ones, whether they were nearby or far. Her family will miss her frequent texts, lists, flight updates and weather reports. She was proud to be a trailblazer in her career as a sales representative, starting in the 1970s when there were few women in the field. She will be remembered as a strong and loving wife, mother, sister and friend who was selflessly devoted to her family.
In lieu of flowers, we would appreciate donations to Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice. Their amazing staff made this difficult part of the journey easier for Beth and family. We are grateful for your care and compassion these past months. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. Online condolences can be left at cresmountfennellchapel.com.
