Peacefully at the Juravinski Hospital on Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at the age of 91. Beloved wife of the late Arthur for 63 years. Loving mother of Sheila Marston, Abbey (Barbara), Larry (Annette), Holly Ann Russell, Eleanor May McComb (Roy). Cherished Nana of Anita, Shawn, Mark, Jennifer,Lesley, James and Elise. She will be sadly missed by her ten great-grandchildren. Survived by her sisters Louise and Bern and brother Roy. Eleanor was born in Amherst, Nova Scotia and was devoted wife, mother, nana and member of St. Joseph’s Parish. Special thanks to the angels at Extendicare and Juravinski Hospital (4F) for their exceptional care. Visitation at MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Tuesday from 7-9pm with Vigil Prayers at 7pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, 260 Herkimer Street (at Locke) on Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at 10am. Cremation to follow.
