Eileen P Green

Age 74, of Carpentersville, Illinois, passed away under the care of her family and in the comfort of her home on Wednesday afternoon, December 6, 2017. Eileen was born in Dreenagh, Ballyheigue, Ireland on January 13, 1943 and was the daughter of the late Michael and Kathleen (nee Roche) Hanlon. On July 24, 1971 she married Patrick T. Green. Eileen was a resident of the Carpentersville area for 40 years and was a member of St Monica Catholic Church. She was a member of St Monica's Women Solidarity and both the Dundee VFW 2298 & Carpentersville VFW #5915 Women's Auxiliary. Survivors include her loving husband of 46 years; Patrick T. their children; Patrick (Corinne) Green and Michelle Erb. Other survivors include her grandchildren; Kayla and Isabel as well as her siblings; Mamie Mulvihill, Cathy Mae Curran, Birdie (Joe) O'Connor, Pat Hanlon, Margaret (Joseph) Gaynor, John (Josephine) Hanlon, and Nora (John) Day along with many nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to her parents, Eileen was preceded in death by her sister; Hannah Hanlon. Visitation at Truscott, Brown and Dwyer Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 from 4-8 pm. Graveside Service at Woodland Cemetery, Hamilton on Thursday, December 14, 2017 at 11am. Donations may be made to the Alzheimer Foundation.
