After a long and joyful life, we say goodbye to Dorothy on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 in her 98th year.
Beloved wife of the late Don Lewis and the late Gordon Madill. Loving mother of Robert Madill (the late Dona) (Betty Anne), Elizabeth Beaudoin (Phil), Margaret Looker, Gordon Madill (Rita), Joan Barty (the late Colin), the late John Madill, and Richard Lewis (Christine). Sadly missed by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Dorothy was active in scouting for 50 years and an avid crafter at St. Matthew’s Senior Centre. Special thanks to the staff of 2nd and 3rd floors at St. Peter’s Hospital for their care.
Visitation at TRUSCOTT, BROWN & DWYER FUNERAL CHAPEL, 1309 King Street East (opposite Gage Park) on Sunday from 6-9 pm where the Funeral Service will be held on Monday, March 5, 2018 at 10am. Private family interment. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Peter’s Hospital Foundation or Scouts Canada-Camp Nemo.
