Peacefully on March 18, 2016 at St. Peter's Hospital in her 78th year, Doreen succumbed to a lengthy battle with cancer. Loving mother of Jerry, John, Joe and Cindy. Beloved grandmother of Bailey, Falin, Alice, Madison, Dyna and Sean. Special thank you to the Hamilton Regional Indian Centre, De dwa da dens nye s Aboriginal Health Centre especially Sandra, The Metis Nation of Ontario, Namerind Friendship Centre in London, Ontario especially Mike Hopkins Sr., Juravinski Hospital Dr. Benger and the nurses on Ward 4C and St. Peter's Hospital for their friendship, love and support. Cremation has taken place. A service and feast to honour Doreen will take place at the Hamilton Regional Indian Centre, 34 Ottawa St. S. (at Main St.), on Thursday, March 24th at 12 p.m.
