Passed away peacefully at Grace Villa on March 19, 2016. Beloved husband of Claire (nee Leadbetter). Loving father to David (Cathy), Carolyn (Rob), Martin (Joanne), LuAnn (Gary), and Susan (Paulette). Don was a very proud grandfather of Brian, Derek, Craig, Tonya, Sara, Vanessa, Mallissa, Cynthia, and Shannon, and proud great grandfather to Landon, Grayson, Charlotte, Lucas, Rylee, and Bella. He is survived by his siblings Lorna Donovan, Lynda Johnson, and Richard Dowd. He will also be deeply missed by his furry friend, Mikey. Donald had worked for 40 years on the 2GALV at Stelco. Friends may call at the MARLATT FUNERAL HOME, 615 Main Street East, Hamilton on Tuesday, March 22 from 7-9pm and on Wednesday, March 23 from 11-1pm. A Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, March 23 at 1pm. Interment to follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Hamilton.
