After a courageous battle with cancer, Donald, in his 72nd year, peacefully passed away on June 7, 2017, surrounded by his loving family. He will be sadly missed by his beloved wife of 50 years, Flora (Fotini Pierias), his sons Joe (Karen) and Michael (Michelle) and his beloved 'Peanut Brittle' (granddaughter Alyssa). Visitors will be welcomed at TRUSCOTT, BROWN & DWYER FUNERAL CHAPEL, 1309 King St. E. (at the Delta), Hamilton, ON, on Friday, June 9, 2017 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Prayer service will be held during the evening visitation. Funeral service to be held at Panagia Greek Orthodox Church, 233 East 15th St., Hamilton ON, on Saturday, June 10th at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cancer Assistance Program or Juravinski Hospital would be appreciated. The family would like to thank Dr. Angelo Zizzo as well as all the doctors, nurses and staff at Juravinski Hospital for their care and support.
