Passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, September 22, 2016. Beloved wife of William John Robert Allan for 65 years. Dearest mother of Margaret Siguenza, Barb (Lorne) Haist, and Janice (Peter) Jackson. Proud Grandmother of Bill (Nicole), Andrew, Crystal (Nick), Joshua, and Rachael. Loving Great Grandmother to Adriana, Mateo, and Luca. Also survived by many relatives and friends. Irene was a longtime member of St. David’s Presbyterian Church. She was the President of St. David’s Women’s Mission Society for many years. Friends may call at the MARLATT FUNERAL HOME, 615 Main Street East, Hamilton on Monday, September 26th from 4-7pm. A Funeral Service will be held at St. David’s Presbyterian Church, 478 Wentworth Street North on Tuesday, September 27th at 11am. If desired, donations can be made to St. David’s Church.
