Dina Di Luciano

It is with great sadness, we announce the passing of Adina “Nina” on Wednesday, October 25th, 2017 at the age of 90. Born in Leognano, Teramo, Italy and immigrated to Canada in 1955. Beloved wife of the late Antonio (October 7th, 2016) for 69 years. Loving mother of Julie (Nick Annecchini). Cherished Nonna of Dana (James Tonin) and Elisa. Beloved great-grandmother to Noah & Emma Tonin and Logan & Jessica Ras. Predeceased by her brother Vittorio. Loved sister-in-law of Vittoria Ricci and Elvira Di Luciano of Toronto. Adina will be sadly missed by nieces, nephews, family and friends. A special thank you to the staff of Arbour Creek Nursing Home for the care given to Adina. Adina was an exceptional woman. She was a selfless, kind and gentle soul who will be missed by all who knew her. Visitation at the MARKEY DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth), Hamilton, on Sunday, October 29th, 2017 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. with Vigil Prayers at 3:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Incarnation of Our Blessed Lord Roman Catholic Church, (corner of Barton Street and Nash Road), Hamilton on Monday, October 30th, 2017 at 8:45 a.m. Entombment to follow at Our Lady of the Angels Cemetery. Donations in Adina’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer Foundation.
