Before I met my husband I pray often asking god for a good man to be a father of my daughter, to be my bestfriend and  my partner in life .Just like my father but more than my father. And whatever I asked god specifically he gave me. And that someone is Denis, my bestfriend and my partner in life.  He is our strong pillar. He is kind, generous, humble, most understanding person I’ve ever  known in my entire life. He is amazingly design from god he one of a precious gift from god in my life that I’m always proud of and I’m forever grateful and thankful to god. In our 18 year of marriage I never experience from my husband raising his voice to me or mad or complaining. He played a big role of my family, whoever I loved he will loved he support my flaws. My husband is not rich but in everything we need including my family back home he helps a lot a good provider. I never hear a word NO from my husband. And whenever he sees me quietly and feel bored he always offered to drive me anywhere I want to go and without complain how many minutes or hours waiting for me. If I go for travel everything well taking cared of. When I got home from work I have ticket, travel insurance and pocket money ready on the table. He always want me to relying into him, he always make sure everyone is happy in the family. So many beautiful memories to tell about my husband of how amazing person he is…He said to me  before.” Life Must Go On.”  God is good, he gave my husband peaceful and quiet life as I prayed. Thank you to everyone for taking your time  attending my husband’s celebration of life with us. And thank you to all my coworkers, my groups of friends, the  Priest who is officiating my husband’s celebration of life, Arnold, Maureen. I have so many fond memories of Denis - he was such a wonderful friend and we considered him family. He will always hold a special place in my heart and I am forever grateful for all he has done for me. We are very fortunate to have had him in our lives. He will be missed and we cherish his memory. So sorry to hear of Denis’ passing. He had a brilliant mind and was an outstanding lawyer, both as a Crown attorney and then as a Federal prosecutor. He was always so proud of his family. He will be missed.

My deepest condolences for your family. I have very fond memories of Denis in my time working with him as a Detective with the police. I would always be very happy to see Denis was assigned my cases and found myself chatting with him for long periods after court about badguys we wanted to go after, how to fix issues in court, and he would often talk with great pride about his family. I was telling a story about Denis to some young officers just the other day and told them how he was a quite a funny man under his breath in court too that sometimes only I would catch. My best conviction was due to Denis’ hard work and persistence over many years. He will be missed greatly and his memory will always remain with great admiration in my heart.

Please accept my most sincere condolences.  I worked with Denis beginning in the late '90s and for many years thereafter.  I will always remember him as kind and thoughtful.  He had a truly amazing memory and he put it to great use in his day to day work.  He was fair and compassionate and very, very good at his job.  He was also very funny, and I will always remember him smiling and chortling over a joke we were sharing.  He made a tremendous impact on my life, and I will be forever grateful for his kindness and his assistance.   I know it is difficult to lose a loved one, but I hope that you can find some peace knowing that he was truly valued and respected by his peers at work, and that he made a difference in peoples' lives.

I always enjoyed working with Denis.  He was fair, intelligent and friendly.  Never overbearing or condescending as some in his position could be.  Condolences to his family.

Dennis was an outstanding gentleman, kind, compassionate, very bright and always helpful. An outstanding Crown Attorney who I had the privilege to work with. Sorry for your loss. Dennis is missed.

I was very sad to learn of Denis' passing. For many years, I enjoyed daily conversations with Denis in court and in the lawyers's lounge. Denis was a very kind man who spoke proudly about his daughters every single day. He was also a great story teller with a brilliant memory for details, and I loved hearing his stories of past interesting cases, with his own spin and humour. I've been thinking about Denis recently and wondering how he was doing--now so sad to learn of his passing. My sincere condolences to Denis' family.

I worked with Denis for 10 yrs at the Crown Attorney's Office. Denis was always so calm and approachable for anything at any time.  Often seen with a gleem in his eye and a smile on his face. A gentleman, who spoke highly of his family and pets. Rest in peace Denis 🙏

I had the pleasure of working with Denis as a member of the Victim Witness Assistance Program for many years. He was kind, patient and incredibly supportive. I am grateful to have had the pleasure of working alongside him and wish to extend my condolences to his family, friends and colleagues . May his memory be a blessing.

Had several criminal cases with Denis over the years. He was always so well prepared and a pleasure to work with. Loved his wry little smile when he was amused about something. 

Hate to resort to an overused term, but it seems so apt for Denis; he was a gentleman and a scholar!

I am so sorry to see this news about Denis and send my condolences to his beloved wife and family.  Denis was truly one-of-a-kind!  I  consider myself fortunate to have worked with him, first as opposing  counsel and then as a fellow Assistant Crown.   He had a wonderful sense of humour and a kind heart.  He will be missed.

Was really sorry to hear about Dennis' passing.  While not the greatest baseball player in the Hamilton Lawyer's Baseball League, he was always game.  And as a Crown he was always fair, which is saying something.   A good guy; my condolences to his family.
