Chris, Julia and family, 

I was deeply saddened to hear the news of your mom's passing and wanted to share my deepest sympathies.  I had the privilege of working with Debbie and will always remember her as being hardworking and dedicated, but more importantly, a kind, caring and compassionate person.  Thank you for sharing such wonderful pictures which show what a wonderful and proud mom and grandmother she was.

I remember visiting with your mom one day when we went to pick up Emily.  Your mom was so kind and loving. I felt that from just a few brief visits I shared with her. Thank you so much for sharing your family photo history.  It was lovely to see Debbie in happy times.  I always will remember her for her sense of humour and her smiling face. Chris, Julie and family, I was so very sad to hear of your mother's passing.  Debbie was such a kind and caring woman and I have wonderful memories of our times together in the Aurora Opera Company. Debbie was the dearest, sweetest, kindest lady. She had a way of being everyone's mother. I spent many hours laughing with Debbie and sharing in the trials of life. She treated the world with kindness and gave an example of grace through life's challenges. I know she'll be up there singing in the most glorious choir wearing a pink robe smiling down on Chris and Julie and their families,  who she was very proud of. She was my bubble bath lines coach and gave me great comfort in the rough days of my life. I'm sorry I'm unable to be at the services this Sunday Monday. I truly cared for Debbie. She was a living angel.

A proud mother, a friendly soul and of course an excellent cake baker! We will miss her down here, but up there in heaven she can see her family & friends always.

I am so sorry. You have some lovely memories of you, your girls and your mum.

Debbie has been a once in a lifetime friend since I was 19 years old.  We met when we were both in the Aurora United Church choir, where we sat beside each other.  We had an instant connection and it was as if we already knew each other.  From that day on, and years later, our special friendship grew and meant the world to both of us.  I will miss our endless phone calls where we laughed, shared our lives and knew we would always have our once in a lifetime friendship.  I used to tell her I was a "lucky girl" to have her in my life.  I miss you Deb, and I love you, now and forever, Linda. C.

Please accept my heartfelt condolences.  It is my hope this brief reflection can bring a moment of relief
Devoted to family.  The single most important person in the lives of her children.  Proud grandmother.  
She unfalteringly embraced life though every challenge presented her.  A loving, caring woman with a beautiful voice that brought her to the States on occasion when traveling with the Chorus.  We had wonderful times on our stays that, as so often happens, became fewer and farther between.  Her humor and wit brought warmth and laughter to every visit.  
May the pain in your heart and the tears in your eyes be replaced by your cherished memories and fond smiles.
