OSATCHUK, Daniel It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Daniel Osatchuk on Saturday, May 26, 2012 at St. Peter’s Hospital in his 89th year. Beloved husband of Irma. Will be greatly missed by his nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and extended family. Daniel was retired from the Case Company where he worked as a millwright and maintenance welder for 30 years. He was a World War II Veteran; landing on Juno Beach with the Queen’s Own Rifle and served the rest of the war with the Blackwatch. Special thank you to Dr. Bev and nursing staff on the 3rdfloor at St. Peter’s Hospital, palliative care. Family will receive friends at CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME (322 Fennell Avenue East, Hamilton) on Wednesday, May 30th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will take place on Thursday, May 31st at 1 p.m. in the chapel. Interment to follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens.
