Connie Anita Rao

Born September 23, 1927, Connie was the loving daughter of the late Anthony and Carmela Rao. A beloved sister, Connie is reunited with her brother Dominic and sisters Mary, Josephine(Wyatt), and Rose(Jarvis). She is fondly remembered by sister Jean (Blore) and many nieces and nephews.

Connie was a retired employee of Westinghouse and proud of her 39 years of service. She also served as a member of the RCAF auxiliary and later as a dedicated volunteer at St. Joseph's Hospital. Her great sense of humour and love of life will be sorely missed by her many friends at the Hess Senior Centre and the Royal Canadian Legion (Barton St.)

Visitation at MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Friday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm with Vigil Prayers at 7pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Charles Garnier Roman Catholic Church, 129 Hughson Street South, on Saturday, September 7, 2013 at 10am. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
