Charlotte Ann Young

Passed away peacefully on July 17, 2016 in her 95th year after many years battling Parkinson's Disease and Senile Dementia, succumbing finally to pneumonia. Charlotte is survived by her beloved husband, Henry, of 66 years; was the loving mother of Christine, Catherine (Gary), and the late Robert (Karen); caring grandmother of April (Yassin), Karl (Julie), Julie (Dave), Ian (Marion), James (Alana), Carolynne (Attila), Cheryl, and Lynda (Tyler); great-grandmother of Dominic, Jaylen, Henry, Emily, Theodore, Abbygale, and Arthur. Charlotte's dear sister-in-law, Peg (Margaret Sharp) Bethune survives her. Charlotte's late siblings were William (Marion), Phyllis (William), Marshall (Laura), and Malcolm. Nieces and nephews and their offspring may recall her warm smile of affection, as will her friends. Visitation from 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday, July 20th at Cresmount Funeral Home, 322 Fennell Ave. E. in Hamilton, will be followed the next day, by a service at 2:00 p.m. at Barton Stone United Church with interment to follow at the church cemetery.
