Carol was born in Belmont, Trinidad to Theresa Sabine Gregoire and Henry Hyacinth Gregoire. She was a Devoted Wife to Earl Phillip of 53 years. Beloved Mother to Rawle (Jennifer) Phillip. Cherished Sibling to Merle, Joycelyn(deceased), Marjorie, Martin (deceased) and Learie. Loving Aunt to Alison, Kenneth, Marlon, Candace, Nigel, Ian, Kelly, Melissa, Sean, Adrian, Nicholas, Jarryd and Caleah. Admired Elementary Teacher to many students over her 38-year career and a treasured friend to many.
Carol was born to travel and was passionate about her music. So much so that she combined her passions where as a member of the Hamilton Steel Orchestra she performed at the Canadian International Pavilion at EXPO ‘88 in Brisbane, Australia. Carol loved to experience different cultures all over the world and spent her adult life traversing the 4 corners of the globe, only missing out on one of the seven continents.
In her spare time she enjoyed training youth to perform in choirs and school concerts and later became one of the leaders of the Silvertones Steel Orchestra while also being a member Caribbean Cultural Association.
Carol, you are always in our hearts, will always be remembered and forever loved.

Visitation will be held at CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME, 322 Fennell Avenue E. on Thursday, November 16, 2023 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm with Vigil Prayers to be said at 7:30pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Margaret Mary Church, 20 Idlewood Avenue on Friday, November 17, 2023 at 11am.
