HANMER, Carol Rose (née Cardwell) September 25, 1955 - May 4, 2017 It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Carol Hanmer on May 4, 2017 in her 62nd year. Beloved wife of Michael Hanmer for 40 years. Loving mother of Laura Cernele (Shane) and grandmother of Rylan. Dear sister of William A. Cardwell (Shelley-Kay) and aunt to Christy-Kay and William D. Cardwell. Deeply missed by sisters-in-law Maureen (Douglas and son Jacob) and Laurie (Christine) as well as other extended family and many friends. The family wishes to thank all of those who helped support and care for Carol on her final journey. Visitation will be held Sunday, May 7, 2017 from 1 - 5 p.m. at CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME-FENNELL CHAPEL, 322 Fennell Avenue East, Hamilton. The funeral service will be held at St. Ann’s Roman Catholic Church, 11 Wilson Street, Ancaster on Monday, May 8, 2017 at 11 a.m. Donations in memory of Carol to the Cancer Assistance Program or Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice would be greatly appreciated.
