Bruce Livingstone

He passed peacefully on February 16th at Grace Villa; just a few days before his 92nd birthday. He is now reunited in Heaven with his late wife Frances (nee Parker) and Daughter Debbie. His mother Eleanor, Stepfather Melvin and Brother Lynn. He will be greatly missed by his children Myles, David, Darlene(Anwar), Brenda(Dale) and Cindy. His grandchildren, Ben(Darby), Alisha(Riquermi), Simon, and Sara. Great grandchildren Selena(Alex) and Jordan. And great, great grandson Vito. He will also missed by my many nieces, nephews and friends.

He moved from P.E.I to Hamilton, Ontario in 1951 where he met the love of his life Frances, got married, and raised his family.

He worked at Dufferin Concrete and retired in 1997, where he proudly drove his cement mixer for over 35 years. He loved being a Teamster and enjoyed marching in the labour day parade every year. He was a proud member of the Royal Hamilton Light Infantry. He loved hockey and played on the old timers league. He loved baseball and football too. He enjoyed the stock car races and loved to work on cars himself. You could always hear him yodeling, or singing or whistling a tune.

His greatest love was his family, he was a great dad and he was a proud "Gramps" to all his grandchildren.

He is now resting in the ever loving arms of Jesus; where he'll spend eternity in his new heavenly body. He is free to fly, dance, sing, yodel, walk through the gardens, down the streets of gold and glorify His Heavenly Father ... He is home in Heaven.

The family would like to give a special thank you to the nurses and personal support workers at Grace Villa who took special care of our father and treated him like he was their papa. He loved you all.

Resting at Markey-Dermody Funeral Home, 1774 King Street East, Hamilton for visitation on Friday, February 21, 2025 from 6-8 p.m. A chapel service will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Stoney Creek.
