Bessie Laura King

Peacefully at Queen’s Garden Nursing Home on Sunday, April 28, 2013 in her 90th year. Loving mother of Sandra Paradee (Tony), David Pearson, and Sue-Ellen Pearson. Cherished grandmother of Laurie, Betty, Pamela, Eden, Shoshana and the late Kenyon. Great grandmother and great great grandmother to many in Ontario and California. She will be missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Bessie was a longtime resident at First Place, belonged to First Pilgrim United Church, and was a member of The Hamilton Regional Indian Centres’ Elders Circle. A special thank you to the staff at Queen’s Garden Nursing Home for all of their care. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at the MARLATT FUNERAL HOME, 615 Main Street East, Hamilton (east of Sanford Avenue) on Saturday, May 4, 2013 at 11 a.m. If wished, donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
