Berta Koroknay

Peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospital, on Saturday, March 18, 2017 in her 90th year. Berta Koroknay, beloved wife of the late Laszlo Koroknay (2014). Dear friend of Klara and Tibor Olah and family who supported her care over these past few years. Lovingly remembered by relatives in Hungary. Berta was a long-time member of John Calvin Hungarian Presbyterian Church. Special thanks to Kate Kemp and staff at St. Elizabeth Villa for their kindness and care, and the 4th floor nursing staff, palliative care, at St. Joseph’s Hospital. Resting at TRUSCOTT, BROWN & DWYER FUNERAL CHAPEL, 1309 King Street East (across from Gage Park at the Delta). Visitation on Wednesday, March 22 from 11 a.m. until the commencement of the Funeral Service at 12 noon. Interment will follow in Woodland Cemetery. In honour of Berta, donations may be made to John Calvin Hungarian Presbyterian Church.
