It is with immense sadness, we announce the passing of our sweet, sweet, Mother in her 92nd year, pre-deceased by her loving husband, Leo Vallee, in 2002. Mom, you will be forever in our hearts and thoughts, from your children with love - Brenda (Dale), Lynn, Brian (Cynthia), and Cheryl (Marilyn). Bernice was dearly loved by her grandchildren, Glendyn, Diana, Robyn, Kristyn, Leith, Joanne, Lori (deceased), Robin, Breanna and their spouses. "Gramma GiGi" will also be missed by her 11 great-grandchildren. She is survived and dearly missed by her brother William (Bill) Hayes. She has many nieces and nephews who adored her, including a large extended family and friends who will never forget her warmth and love. Bernice had a big heart and she kept it filled with love. She deeply touched so many throughout her life. Her strength and gracious attitude when loved ones were lost helped those left behind to feel so much more relieved and comforted, even when it came to her own loss. Mom, you were a very classy lady right up until the end. Although we are sad, we are happy you have gone to join Dad and all those who left before you. We too will "Love You Much" as you so often ended your good-byes to us. Fly high with the doves on your angel wings, Mom. I'd like the memory of me to be a happy one. I'd like to leave an afterglow of smiles when life is done. I'd like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways, of happy times and laughing times, and bright and sunny days. I'd like the tears of those who grieve, to dry before the sun, with all of the happy memories that I leave when my life is done. The family also wishes to extend our sincere gratitude to Dr. Lind Holland for her warmth and guidance in this difficult time. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2018 from 7pm - 10pm at Southcote 53 Tap and Grill, 534 Garner Rd. E. Ancaster, Ontario.
