Bartolo Curcuru

Adored Papa to Matteo and Ryan. Bartolo is survived by sisters Anna DiStefano and Antonia Acquilano, along with several nieces, nephews and extended family. Predeceased by three brothers, Salvatore, Andrew and Filipo Curcuru. Bartolo worked 34 years in the steel industry as a steel worker, in his spare time he enjoyed gardening, fishing and watching football and hockey. A special thank you to Dr. Kourukis and his team, plus the entire staff of the Hematology Department at Juravinski Hospital for their kind care and compassion. Visitation will be held at MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Sunday, January 6th from 1 pm to 4 pm with Vigil Prayers to be said at 3:45 pm. Funeral Service will be celebrated in the funeral home chapel on Monday, January 7th at 10am. Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
