LOWTHER, Barry Suddenly, doing what he loved best, playing golf, in Hamilton, on Sunday, July 3, 2011, at the age of 62. Beloved husband of Jan for 42 years. Loving father of Debbie Hunter (Adam) and Lee (Melissa). Dear son of Betty and the late Roy Lowther. Loving Gran Gran of Chase, Madison and Riley. Dear brother of Yvonne (Rod). Will be deeply missed by many other family in England. Will also be deeply missed by many wonderful friends who are like family. Barry was recently retired from St. Joseph's Hospital after 31 years of service and was a long time coach and served on the executive of the M.H.Y.S.C. Cremation has taken place. Friends may call at the Cresmount Funeral Home, 1020 Upper James Street, on Friday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the Chapel of the funeral home on Saturday at 11 a.m. In Barry's memory, please hug someone you love.
