Audrey Verna Taylor

Peacefully passed away at the Meadows, Ancaster, on July 7, 2017 at the age of 93. Predeceased by her beloved husband Herbert. Loving mother of Carole Wilson (the late Bruce), Joyce Bothen (the late Edward), Ron Taylor (Ginny) and Herb Taylor Jr. (Peggy). Cherished Grandma of Tim (Julie), Tanya (predeceased), Chris (Michelle), Nancy (Don), Eddie Jr., Ron (Brenda), Ryan (Amy), Stephen (Staci), Jessica (Mark), Matthew and Great-Grandma of 10. Fondly remembered by her extended family and friends. Audrey and Herb spent many winter holidays in Lakeland, Florida together where they made many fond memories playing cards and square dancing. She loved to knit and would donate outfits to the Neonatal unit in hospitals. Audrey was a member of the Canadian Council for the Blind as well as the CNIB. Special thanks to the wonderful staff at The Meadows for their compassionate care throughout her stay. Visitation will be held at CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME, 322 Fennell Ave. E. on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 from 1 p.m. until time of service in the chapel at 3 p.m. Cremation to follow.
