Surrounded by his loving family, Arnold passed away peacefully Friday, December 16, 2016 at the Juravinski Hospital at the age of 78. He will be dearly missed by his loving wife Jeanet of 30 years. Loving father of Sigrid (Harry), Bianca (Philip) and step-children Bill (Maria) and Diane (Marc). Dear grandfather of eight. Will be remembered by many family members in Europe. Arnold was a master cabinet maker at Valley City Dundas for 24 years and a long time member of the Germania Club of Hamilton. Special thank you to the doctors and nurses in ICU at the Juravinski Hospital. Family will receive friends at CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME, 322 Fennell Ave. E., on Wednesday, December 21st from 12 p.m. until time of service at 1 p.m. in the chapel. Interment to follow in Woodland Cemetery. A reception will follow interment at the Germania Club, 863 King St. E., Hamilton. In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Germania Club would be greatly appreciated.
