GRDISA, Anton Surrounded by his loving family, Tony passed away at the Hamilton General Hospital on Sunday, September 12, 2010 just shy of his 80th birthday (September 19, 2010). Adoring husband of 57 years to Draga. Loving father of Marijana (Steve) Barkovic and Vesna (Paul) Swioklo. Deda of Steven, Christina (John), Vanessa and Paul. Great Deda of Adrianna and Jonathan. Survived by sister in Croatia and family. Retired employee of Dofasco. He was a kind and gentle soul who will be painfully missed. We would like to thank the staff at General especially Dr. Gregor and Denise. Visitation will be held at the MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Monday, from 6-9 p.m. and Tuesday, from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Prayer service Tuesday at 7:15 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Cross Church on Wednesday, September 15, 2010 at 9:30 a.m. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
