It is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of Ante “Šime”.
Beloved husband of Anka. Loving father of Nick (Barb) and Jake (Amy). Cherished Dida of Michelle, Nicholas (Emily), Olivia and Madison and Great-Dida of Zane. He is survived by his sister Dragica in Croatia. Ante “Šime” was a devoted family man who always made everyone laugh and smile with his charming personality. He was always there to lend a helping hand. His love for his homeland Croatia was second only to his love for his family. He will be deeply missed by his extended family and friends.
Visitation at Markey-Dermody Funeral Home, 1774 King Street East, on Wednesday, October 16 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm with Rosary at 3:30 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Cross Croatian Church, 1883 King Street East, on Thursday, October 17 at 11 am. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
