Peacefully at Grace Villa Nursing Home with family by her side on Tuesday, September 16, 2014 at 95 years of age. Beloved wife of the late John Pastrak (2007). Loving mother of Marlene (John) and Barbara (Ed). Cherished grandmother of Miranda, Bryan, Heather, Sarah, and Seth; and great-grandmother of Cole and David. Dear sister of Mike Hyska. She will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Anne was a longtime employee of Birks Jewellers. Special thanks to the staff of Grace Villa for their compassionate care. Family will receive friends at CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME – Fennell Chapel, 322 Fennell Avenue East, Hamilton on Friday, September 19, 2014 from 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held from the funeral home chapel on Saturday, September 20, 2014 at 11 a.m. with The Reverend Leon Burke from The Church of the Resurrection (435 Mohawk Road West, Hamilton) presiding. Readings for the service are taken from Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 and the Gospel of John 14:1-6a. Interment to follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, 1895 Main Street West, Hamilton.
