Anne was born on May 11, 1927 in Leith (Edinburgh), Scotland, UK into a family of 6 brothers and 2 sisters. Growing up in the Depression and through WWII gave her a strong appreciation for the value of family and a positive approach to life. In 1949 her sense of adventure brought her to Canada to start a new life where she settled in Hamilton and met her husband Fred while working at International Harvester. She is predeceased by her husband Fred Harold Dodge (2014) and her daughter Margaret Anne Dodge (1976). Anne is survived by her sons Fred (Janice) Philip (Sophie, pre-deceased) (Deborah) 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. In accordance with the regulations of the Bereavement Authority of Ontario due to COVID-19, all events are restricted to a specified number of attendees. Visitors are also required to wear a face covering and practice social distancing. Visitation will be held at CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME, 322 Fennell Avenue E. on Wednesday, January 26, 2022 from 5pm-8pm. Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday, January 27, 2022 at 11am with Interment to follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens.
