William “Bill” Howard, 83 of West Union, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at Christ Hospital. He was born in Jackson County, Kentucky on November 25, 1938, the son of the late Raymond and Lucy (Gabbard) Howard. Bill was a retired route salesman for Pepsi. He is survived by his wife Janet (Lennex) Howard; four daughters, Cheryl (James) McClanahan, Nita (Blake) Steele, Verla (Jason) Bell and Jacqueline Nelson; eight grandchildren, Ryan (Courtney) McClanahan, Nathan (Stephanie) McClanahan, Tyler (Ali) Parish, Kayleigh Parish, Travis (Bre) Parish, Kaitlyn (Justin) Moore, Courtney (Reid) Bagley and Logan Bell; five great grandchildren, Savannah McClanahan, Adaline Moore, Declan Parish, Loxley McClanahan and Dakota Parish; two brothers, Ray Howard Jr. and Gregg (Diane) Howard; nieces and nephews. Bill was also preceded in death by his first wife, Norma Howard; brother, Bob Howard and sister, Juanita Nugent. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
