Obituary:

William Gabbard age 79 of Fairfield passed away Friday January 22, 2016 at Hospice of Hamilton. He was born April 6, 1936 in McKee, Kentucky the son of the late Lewis and Mary E. (Lear) Gabbard. Mr. Gabbard was a veteran of the U. S. Army and worked at Ford Motor Company from 1958-1996. He was a member of the East River Road Baptist Church and was a Kentucky Colonel. Mr. Gabbard enjoyed hunting, fishing, yard work, and studying his Bible. He is survived by his wife Rebecca L. Gabbard; his daughter Juanita (Tom) Shobe, his son and best friend Marcus E. Gabbard, and his daughter Devona (Larry) Pater; three granddaughters Charlotte (Justin) Scott, Amanda (Trent) Starrett, and Rebecca Pater; great grandson Elijah Scott, and step grandson Rusty Pater. Mr. Gabbard was also preceded in death by his granddaughter Madison Nicole Pater, his step grandson Aaron Pater, and two brothers Dave and Rex Gabbard. Visitation at THE WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME 3080 Homeward Way at Rt. 4, Fairfield on Monday January 25, 2016 from 10:00 AM until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 AM, with Rev. Don Ruby and Rev.
