Virginia " Lee Sasser

Virginia Lee Sasser "Blue Eyes" age 84, of Fairfield, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, May 7, 2023. She was born in Sandgap, Kentucky on February 11, 1939 to the union of Ambrose Chappell and Cordie Griffith. She was employed in the hospitality industry and she was a homemaker. Virginia enjoyed gardening, cooking, yard sales and thrift shopping. She lived for her grandkids and was a helper to anyone in need.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Sasser, Sr. “Mose” Sisters, Helen Sheppard, Juanita Wagers, Pauline Jones, Mary Magdalene Chappell, and Martha Chappell. Brothers, Wilson Chappell and Bill Chappell.

Virginia is survived by her Daughters, Mary Denise Sasser (Earl) and Regina Hollon and her Son William Sasser Jr. Brothers, Herman Chappell, Christopher Chappell, and Carlos Boyd “C.B.” Grandchildren Heather Dyer (Randy), Justin Hollon, Cheyanne Hollon, Tabitha Mize, and William Barnett; 8 great-grandchildren, and a host of other family and friends who will miss her dearly.

Visitation will be at Rose Hill Funeral Home, 2565 Princeton Rd., Hamilton, Ohio 45011 from 11:30am to 1:30pm on Sunday, May 14, 2023.

Graveside ceremonies will be conducted at Rose Hill Burial Park, 2421 Princeton Rd., Hamilton, Ohio 45011 on Monday, May 15, 2023, at 10:00am.
