She was born on November 14, 1926, in Mount Vernon, KY, to the late Birt and Sarah Baker. Helen moved to Hamilton at the age of 14, where she met and married Jack W. Baker. She worked for the Butler County Mental Health Center for over 10 years, before retiring in 2010. Helen enjoyed singing in choirs, churches, and at special events. She also enjoyed going to Civic Theater and traveling to spend time with family; she could line dance with the best of them. Helen is survived by her daughters Myra (Jack) Myzcka and Karen Baker; grandchildren Amy (Rob) Hoskins, Cindy (Braden) Wingert, Jonathan (Kelly) Myzcka, and Jacob Norton; great grandchildren Nathan, Noah, Kaitlyn, Jordan, and Jayden. She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, and many beloved nieces. Private family services will be held at the Rose Hill Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Hospice of Hamilton.
