Sydney was born on September 18, 2001 in Hamilton, the daughter of Alberto and Stephanie (Huffman) Garcia-Tovar. She was a graduate of Hamilton High Class of 2018. Sydney Anise Garcia-Tovar had become such an amazing woman in such a short amount of time. Her life impacted all those around her. Sydney's friends were a big part of her life and she would do just about anything for any of them. She would be your friend regardless of your background, race, gender, etc. She was a leader - a genuine, beautiful soul who was adventurous, walked her own path and was full of life. She was outspoken and confident, never worrying what others would think of her. She knew how to make everyone feel loved and appreciated. Though we may have lost her, Sydney Anise will forever live on in every one of us. Sydney’s last act of kindness and generosity was to give the gift of life to many people in need through organ and tissue donation. Sydney is survived by her parents, siblings, Haley (Joshua Seth) Napier) Garcia-Tovar, Joaquin D. (Deja Burress) Garcia-Tovar and Waylon Carter Thacker; aunts and uncles, J. Jesus Garcia, Joaquin (Miriam Ramirez) Garcia, Fabiola Garcia, Norma (Alfredo Lopez) Garcia, Cristina (Ernesto Araunjo) Garcia, Tiffany (Tommy) Rider, Scott Huffman and Mike Huffman; nephew Joshua Cayden Napier; grandparents, Flora Tovar-Nava and Dianne Huffman, great uncle Randy “Bubby” McVey; godparents, Adrian (Guadalupe Lopez) Garcia and many cousins.
